I was excited to get a new software review up this week. I was able to review Cha-Ching 2 by Midnight Apps – be sure to check it out.
Cha-Ching is a personal finance software app that runs on the Mac. All the Mac users out there (and even the iTunes fans) will find the application very familiar and clean.
It has some nice features, such as quick search and filtering and they even have an app for iPhone. The also had some not so necessary/helpful features such as the Coverflow view.
In general, I found it a little buggy still. This is understandable since they are still in beta with this version, but I certainly wouldn’t want to pay the $40 (yet) to be fooling around with bugs.
Bottom line: If you’re looking for a Mac-friendly way to track your spending then Cha-Ching will get the job done. There are, however, many other financial software applications that are much more effective at helping you actively manage your money and have a plan for your finances.
Check out the full Cha-Ching review for all the details.
*Update: I was excited to see that the Cha-Ching 2 review was featured on Money Under 30.
